It can be of great advantage if you are someone that continuously reassess their life by asking questions about their current life situation. If you are not one of those it is not too late! Asking yourself questions about your progress in life can transform the way you think and act in your private and business life. It enables you to be in control of the decisions you make in your present and past. There are three questions that you should keep asking yourself:
Where am I in my life at the moment?Asking yourself where you are in life can be of huge advantage, if you are unhappy with the life situation you are currently in you are able to change. Has your dream always been to open up a coffee truck by the beach? Take a risk and follow what you desire. If you come to a point in your life where you are unable to change anything, you can easily find yourself in a situation where you will become unhappy and depressed about your life, risking loss of motivation and focus of what makes you happy, worst case scenario is a life with regrets. So, question yourself whether you are happy with the job you are in and the people who surround you, and re-assess what you want.
Am I happy with where I am or where do I really want to be?
Do you feel as though the place you are in, in your life, is not making you happy? Sit down and go deeply within yourself, to find out what you want. Do you want to change your career, do you want to be more successful financially, or are there relationships you want to get rid of? There may be risks with change, but you must ask yourself whether those risks are worth your happiness.
How can I achieve that dream?
Firstly, make sure that the two above questions have been answered honestly and fairly by yourself. Are your desires realistic and achievable? If so, start doing some research on your new path of life, find out whether you need any new qualifications, any new equipment, or finding out whether you are moving to a new country. Once you have done this, start taking the first steps or have the first conversations to start fresh.
